Alexander Y Williams
President and CEO

Alexander Y Williams has over 25 years of high-value business consulting experience in corporate America as a Visionary Leader multiple global consulting firm such as Core Comm, OnX and Iron Mountain.

With these organization, He was responsible for delivering business and technology solutions for Global Fortune 500 companies. At the same time, he is the CEO/President of HEALTHUP Foundation a nonprofit organization in Cleveland. He grew up in Cleveland and graduated from Max S Hayes High School; he is a product of the Cleveland Public Schools System. He earned a degree in business from Benedict University.

Over the past twelve years, Alex has embarked on the creation of several small businesses in the Greater Cleveland area. He is the owner and operator of:
• Healthy Living Incorporate: (Social Media Platform for Doctors)
• Williams Management Consulting Group: (Real Estate Services, Contractor and Marketing)
• Firm Foundation Incorporate: (Fitness Business * Fitness Club and Training Center)

Alex Y Williams is also the President and CEO of HEALTUP Foundation. Founded in 1994, Firm Foundation, Inc. (“FFI”), a for-profit organization, sought to educate and serve individuals and small groups on the matters of health, nutrition, fitness and stress management. FFI’s philosophy was the promotion of individual growth in these areas. While educating in nutrition and fitness, we realized the tremendous need for a community-based extension of services to include family preventive care and health maintenance. Derived from a conscious and focused effort to give back to the community, the entity formerly known as Firm Foundations Inc. evolved into Firm Foundations Community II (FFC II). And now, with the addition of a digital magazine and online social community, The Health Up Foundation aims to reach people from a variety of communities, here in the U.S. and across the world.

Alex passion is to be an entrepreneur and philanthropist who promotes economic development in the minority community. As a community leader, he has been recognized on several occasions including:

Andrew Jackson
Executive Director of the Commission on Economic Inclusion and Senior Vice President of the Greater Cleveland Partnership

Andrew Jackson serves as Executive Director of the Commission on Economic Inclusion and Senior Vice President of the Greater Cleveland Partnership initiative to build and sustain economic growth by enhancing the participation of minority professionals and minority-owned businesses in overall efforts to create jobs and investment in Northeast Ohio. He is also a senior vice president at GCP.

Jackson previously was a consultant at Accenture, where he focused on transforming large-scale business and technology in the automotive and industrial equipment industries for clients including BP America, Daimler Chrysler, and Johnson Controls.

A graduate of John Adams High School, he earned a degree in accounting from Cleveland State University and completed the CPA examination a year later. He joined Accenture as a consultant following graduation in 1982 and was made partner in 1995.

His involvement with the life-changing INROADS internship program originated during his freshman year of college when he began a four-year internship at Key Bank. It has continued through his role as a fund-raiser, mentor and inductee in the INROADS National Alumni Hall of Fame. His long-standing work with Karamu House includes serving as board chairman for nine years.

Jackson has received wide recognition for his civic and professional accomplishments by Kaleidoscope Magazine, Crain's Cleveland Business, Black Enterprise magazine, Consulting Magazine, the City of Cleveland, and others.

Bonita Coe, M.D., M.B.A.
Internal Medicine, The Cleveland Clinic

Internal Medicine at The Cleveland Clinic, Bonita Coe, MD, MBA, is a native of Cleveland, Ohio and received her undergraduate degree in human biology from Stanford University in Stanford, Calif.

She obtained her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C., and did her residency training in internal medicine at Cleveland Clinic. She received a Master's of Business Administration in healthcare from Baldwin-Wallace College.

She has practiced primary care medicine in various settings, including group practice, HMO practice and private practice. Her experience also involves instruction of internal medicine residents and medical students in clinical practice. Her interests include prevention of the complications of chronic diseases and the delivery of cost-effective and equitable healthcare. She has been involved in various community boards and agencies, and speaks to many community groups, focusing on the prevention of disease and maintenance of health and wellness.

Poppie Parish
Senior Vice President and officer of Corporate Minority and Women’s Business Development and Urban Strategies for KeyCorp’s Community Development Banking

Poppie Parish is Senior Vice President and officer of Corporate Minority and Women’s Business Development and Urban Strategies for KeyCorp’s Community Development Banking.

Parish is charged with leading the strategic and tactical direction of Key’s nationwide Supplier Diversity efforts as well as the “Unbanked and Under-served” market business strategies. Her primary goals center on the creation and expansion of long-term business relationships with minority and women business owners, from across the country and from a consumer perspective, directing the development, implementation and management of products, financial education programs and services that meet the needs of those in our communities.

With more than 30 years of diverse business experience, Parish has provided guidance and support to numerous minority and women business owners, supplier diversity advocates and support organizations. Additionally, she has promoted financial education and awareness to numerous organizations, educators and individuals across Key’s footprint.

A Cleveland native, Parish earned an M.A. in Psychology, with an emphasis in Diversity Management, from Cleveland State University. She serves on several boards, including the Northern Ohio Minority Business Council, Kent State University Supplier Diversity Advisory Board, Women’s Enterprise Magazine Advisory Board and the Commission on Economic Inclusion Supplier Diversity Advisory Board. As an advocate for financial literacy, she is also a member of the Native American Financial Education Coalition, NE Ohio Coalition for Financial Success and the Get Checking Advisory board. In her community she serves on the Charter Review Commission for the City of Bedford Hts., Ohio and sits on the advisory board of Firm Foundations Community II, a non-profit preventive care and health maintenance outreach organization.

Parish and her husband Alford, an entrepreneur, reside in Bedford Heights and are the parents of three adult sons.

Tina Pildner
Account Manager for Iron Mountain

Tina Pildner is an Account Manager for Iron Mountain and resides in Cleveland, OH. Tina, a California native, received her undergraduate degree in Management and a minor in Marketing from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN

She was involved with Intercultural and Diversity Affairs specifically with the Asian American Student Association. Her interests include the health and fitness of collegiate life.

In 1998, Tina Pildner joined Private Business, Inc. (currently operates as GoldLeaf Financial, Inc.) in Brentwood, TN as a Business Development Representative helping organizations with financial service needs. She was instrumental in supporting the marketing efforts of 150 financial institutions in the west coast. In 2000, Pildner relocated to Scottsdale, AZ as a Field Sales Representative with Private Business, Inc. Pildner traveled a 12-state territory and increased sales revenue through solid relationships, customer satisfaction and retention. She has received excellence awards for customer service and revenue growth. In 2003, Pildner relocated to Cleveland, OH and solidified a position with Iron Mountain Records Management, as a Sales Representative helping organizations with information protection needs. She is involved with the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) and the American Records Management Association (ARMA). Tina Pildner and her husband, David, reside in Cleveland, OH.

Latisha James
Director for the Center for Community Partnerships at Case Western Reserve University

Latisha James is the director for the Center for Community Partnerships at Case Western Reserve University. The office serves as a clearinghouse of information regarding the instrumental role the university provides in improving the quality of life throughout the Northeast Ohio region.

Estimating CWRU invests nearly 400,000 hours of campus-wide community service with nearly 600 organizations each year, the Center promotes the university's extensive inventory of community outreach programs and partnerships in the primary areas of K-12, Health, Social Service, Community and Economic Development.

As director, Latisha also facilitates all public inquiries seeking university partnerships, services, and sponsorships, as well as coordinates the university's response to local governmental and community issues.

Latisha received her Bachelor of Science degree from Wilberforce University and currently a graduate candidate at the Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations. A native of Greater Cleveland, she is the proud mother of Austin and active member of New Community Bible Fellowship.

Myron Bennett, MBA, MBH
Founder and Owner of the McKenzie Business and Consulting Groups

Myron Bennett is the founder and owner of the McKenzie Business and Consulting Groups. Mr. Bennett has more than twenty years of experience in organizational development, advocacy, fund development and systems planning in both the health care and non-profit sectors.

He currently serves as a consultant, grant reviewer and evaluator for numerous local, state and federal health planning and faith based organizations, and played a vital role in the design of the current national organ transplant distribution system.

Mr. Bennett has extensive media, public relations, branding and marketing experience. He hosted a weekly radio health talk show in Buffalo New York, and wrote and edited a monthly health newsletter in Cleveland Ohio. He has appeared as a health care and non-profit sector management expert on numerous television and radio news and talk programs, and been quoted in a wide variety of print media. He has provided expert testimony at the local, state and federal government levels.

Mr. Bennett has served as chairman on numerous local, national and international boards and successfully chaired several fundraising efforts with total returns of over $500,000. He has been appointed to a number of local, state and federal level tasks forces by the Mayors of the City of Cleveland, Governors of the States of Ohio and New York, U.S. Senators and U.S. Congressmen.

Mr. Bennett has founded, and assisted in the development of, several nonprofit organizations serving in the capacities of Executive Director, President, Chairman of the Board, Director of Operations and Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Bennett received Master of Business Administration and Master of Health Care Administration degrees from Cleveland State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from St. Francis University.

A native of Cleveland Ohio, Mr. Bennett is a proud father, serves on the United Way of Cleveland Community Investment Committee, Cuyahoga County Domestic Violence Shelter Advisory Board and the St. Ignatius High School Alumni Executive Council. Mr. Bennett is a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Shaker Heights, Ohio.

Yvonka Marie Hall
Director of the Cleveland Office of Minority Health

Yvonka Marie Hall is the Director of the Cleveland Office of Minority Health. She is responsible for addressing local health disparity needs with the emphasis on informing, educating and empowering at risk communities.

The Office of Minority Health has an important role in activating efforts to educate citizens and professionals on imperative health care issues. Yvonka is the former Northeast Ohio Director of Cultural Health Initiatives for the American Heart Association. In this role, she created cutting-edge programs to reduce the incidence of heart disease and stroke in under-served communities.

Yvonka recently received a Certificate of Recognition from the Cleveland Department of Public Health for organizing and executing the largest Local Conversation on Health Disparities in the United States. Yvonka was also recently recognized by the Call & Post Newspaper as “One to Watch”. In August, 2008 Yvonka was honored by the Cleveland Clinic Women’s Health Center and the National Speaking of Women’s Health Foundation for her ongoing, tenacious commitment to the health of the community as an “Every Day Super Hero”. She also received a Proclamation of Achievement from Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson. She was recognized in the February, 2008 edition of Ebony magazine for her commitment to educating African American women of their risk factors for heart disease. Yvonka was also recently inducted into Who’s Who in Black Cleveland.

In 2005, Hall was awarded the American Heart Association’s Diversity IMPACT Award for her innovative community-based heart disease and stroke initiatives. She also received an award of recognition from Pine Sol for their Powerful Women Making a Difference and the Tom Joyner Morning Show for The Hardest Working Community Educator. Yvonka is passionately involved with the Cleveland community. She’s a current member of the National Council of Negro Women, Cleveland Branch NAACP, Minority Health Alliance, and the Ward 1 HEAL Community Health Initiative, Lee Harvard Community Association and the Lee Miles Seville Concerned Citizens Council. Yvonka is also involved in a number of national organizations.

Yvonka is always willing to lend her voice to make a difference and taped a Public Service Announcement on African American women and heart disease for 1480 WCIN Cincinnati Smooth Jazz.

Yvonka is a graduate of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and Notre Dame College of Ohio. Additionally, she is a graduate of Neighborhood Leadership Cleveland.

As a child, Yvonka witnessed her father murder her mother. She along with her three younger brothers and a younger uncle were raised by her maternal grandparents. This tragedy, turned triumph, fuels her community commitment and devotion to raising her son Samario Antoine, 11 and instilling in him the importance of education.

Eric Harris
CEO of the North Coast Financial Group

Eric Harris is the CEO of the North Coast Financial Group. Eric is an independent Financial Advisor representing several Financial Companies, and was previously affiliated with Prudential Financial for 18 years.

Mr. Harris is a fee-based Financial Planner and is a perennial Million Dollar Round Table qualifying member.

Eric and the North Coast Financial Group have two locations: 5875 Landerbrook Drive, #135, Mayfield Heights, OH and Chicago, IL, and represents clients all over the country. Eric has a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Economics and Psychology from Northwestern University, where he became a distinguished member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He is an avid golfer and has two children, Sydney 13 and Elijah 8.
